WEST BEND, Wis. (Nov. 14, 2023) – The West Bend Sunrise Rotary Club set up their 1 million+ holiday lights at Regner Park and checked them twice! With help from local volunteers and a whole lot of holiday cheer, Washington County’s premier holiday light show, Enchantment in the Park, will be open nightly starting next friday, Nov. 24 through Christmas Eve, raising funds for local organizations and collecting donations for food pantries.

“We’re elated to welcome visitors back to our West Bend winter wonderland in effort to partner with and give back to the community,” said Lori Yahr, co-executive director of Enchantment in the Park. “This magical event wouldn’t be possible without the 700+ volunteers, donating over 4,600 hours to set up, operate and take down our luminous display. We’re so grateful for the support that we’ve received over the years and we’re really looking forward to hosting the first ever Enchantment in the Park Reindeer Run/Walk.”

Enchantment in the Park is a drive-thru holiday adventure that stretches more than a mile through Regner Park (and includes a shorter walk-through route), winding through dancing light arches, twinkling pines, and larger than life holiday scenes, all leading to Santa’s Workshop. At Santa’s Workshop people of all ages can gather for hot cocoa, concessions, live entertainment and of course, snap a picture with Santa himself. Horse drawn carriage rides through the park will also be available on select evenings.

This year, attendees can experience Enchantment in the Park in a whole new way by registering for our inaugural Enchantment in the Park Reindeer Run/Walk on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023. This brand new event allows runners and walkers to weave through the glowing light display up to three consecutive times at their own pace and is the only day visitors will have the chance to experience the drive through portion of the light show display on foot. Attendees can stay warm in Santa’s Workshop before and after the race where they can enjoy paid concessions and a free family picture with Santa. All proceeds from this event will benefit the West Bend Parks. Learn more and sign up for the first Reindeer Run on the event website (participants who register before Nov. 24 will be guaranteed a custom race shirt).

Attendees can check the events schedule for more information about visits from Santa, horse & carriage rides, nightly entertainment or special events. The West Bend Sunrise Rotary Club suggests a minimum $10 donation (by Venmo, cash, or check) and/or a large bag of nonperishable food in order to help fund local businesses, organizations and food pantries.
