WEST BEND, Wis. (November 17, 2022) – Enchantment in the Park will once again light up Regner Park in the City of West Bend with its 14th annual interactive light show. Attendees can visit Regner Park for a night out to see holiday light displays and enjoy other festivities. The holiday attraction will open Friday, November 25 and run through Christmas Eve—Saturday, December 24. The park will be open from 5:00-9:00 PM every night with one exception on Sunday, November 27, as the park will open at 6:00 PM.
This year, Enchantment in the Park will reveal a brand-new 40-foot tall Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Bumble display. The tallest artificial tree in Wisconsin, a 62-foot high RGB-lit Christmas tree, will make its second-consecutive appearance in the park, standing two feet taller than last year.
“Our holiday light show is a community tradition that embraces the holiday season and creates memories for friends and families of all ages,” said Lori Yahr, executive director of Enchantment in the Park. ”We’re honored to bring holiday festivities that can be enjoyed by the whole family while spreading our mission of giving back to the communities around Washington County.”
Enchantment in the Park is made up of more than one million LED lights and staffed by more than 775 volunteers who donate more than 4,600 hours to the event—making it one of the largest light shows in the state of Wisconsin. Since its founding in 2009, Enchantment in the Park has collected and donated more than 6,650 boxes of non-perishable food (roughly 20,250 pounds) to local food pantries and more than $330,000 to nonprofits around Washington County. More than $45,000 is given to Washington County nonprofits annually that help setup, operate, and take down the event.
Attendees have the option to drive or walk through the light show, with the exception of Christmas Eve, which will be drive-through only. On select Friday and Saturday nights, from 6:00–9:00 PM, horse and carriage rides (first-come, first-served) will be available for $5 per person for anyone 16 years and older (children 15 and younger are free). Fire pits will also be available on all Friday and Saturday nights for marshmallow roasting which is supported by local Boy Scouts. Concessions, including hot dogs, hot cocoa and more, are available nightly with proceeds supporting Casa Guadalupe Education Center in West Bend. Visitors can hear live music from local artists, and kids will have the chance to meet Santa Claus most nights throughout the event. A donation of a $10 cash/check or Venmo, a new option this year, is suggested per family and/or donation of non-perishable food items are encouraged; credit card donations can also be given online.
